i HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP WITH MY PROBLEM.

WEVE HAD DUDLEY FOR 3MTHS NOW , HES 6YEARS OLD.
hE CAME TO US BECAUSE HE HAD NIPPED ONE OF HIS PREVIUOS OWNERS CHILDREN WHEN THEY TRIED TO TAKE FOOD FROM HIM.
tHATS OK FOR US WE HAVE ONLY OLDER CHILDREN , HE ALSO LIKES HIS PEACE AND QUIET IN THE EVENINGS AGAIN THATS OK FOR US WE NEVER BOTHERED HIM UNLESS HE CAME TO US.
iF FACT OVER THE FIRST 2 MTHS HES IS ACTUALLY THE PERFECT DOG LOVES HIS SPRINGER THINGS WALKS WATER ECT , LIKES LOVE AND AFFECTION NEARLY ALWAYS DOES WHAT HES TOLD.ONLY SHOWED AGRESSION IE GROWLING AND SHOWING TEETH IF HE WAS DISTRURBED BY ACCIDENT ECT.
hOWEVER MY OTHER HALF IS OFF WORK AT THE MOMENT AND HE HAS FORMED A STRONGER BOND WITH HIM, YES IT DOES CAUSE A PROBLEM AS HE NOW CONSTATLEY GROWLS AT ME A ND MY DAUGHTER WHATEVER WE DO , IF HE SEES US ALONE IN A ROOM HE WONT COME IN , OCCASIONALLY HE WILL COME TO ME FOR ATTENTION THATS FINE BUT SUDDENLEY HE WILL TURN GROWL AND BARR HIS TEETH AT ME .
wE HAVE NOW DECIDED TO PUT HIM IN THE "COOLER" WHEN THIS HAPPENS (ITS ACTUALLY THE PORCH) THEN BRING HIM OUT AFTER 10MINS, BUT IT STILL NOT WORKING.
hE HAS BECOME SO UNPRIDICTABLE I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP

Sorry to hear that you're having these issues with Dudley - you should give Mick a ring for advice (number is in contacts section) as he will have experience of dealing with this. Dudley hasn't been with you very long so will still be adjusting to his new life with you - although we loved him we did think it took about a year for Eddie who was only 3 when we rehomed him to fully settle with us (and he went through a phase of being very aggressive with other dogs). However as you probably realise it is very hard to give advice without observing the dog and it may be that you need a behavioralist. I hope you do get it sorted and he settles again
